Concept Sketch
The first step to a painting: small, simple sketches, focused on basic form. Typically it will take a few iterations before I am satisfied with the composition.
Painting
Colour choices are spontaneous and reactive. I opt not to over plan my palette. Working a painting to completion can take anywhere from a few hours to a few months.
